About this course
Accidents and injuries at work happen frequently, but in serious and life threatening emergencies, many employees lack the confidence and knowledge to provide fast and effective assistance, this could potentially cost someone their life.
By completing our Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work courses, you will be equipped with the confidence and knowledge to act quickly and competently with working injuries and accidents in line with HSE-specified standards.
This course is suitable for first aiders in a small and low-risk working environment such as offices or shops located in Leeds.
For high-risk working environments, such as manufacturing and construction businesses, undertaking our Level 3 First Aid at Work Course is recommended.
By the end of this level 3 course, attendees should know and understand the following:
- Understand the role and responsibilities of a first aider
- Be able to assess an emergency safely
- Be able to provide first aid to a casualty who is choking
- Be able to provide first aid to casualty with external bleeding
- Know how to provide first aid to a casualty who is suffering from shock
- Know how to provide first aid to a casualty with minor injuries
