About this course
Workplace injuries and accidents happen on a daily basis, but in serious and life threatening situations, many employees can lack the required confidence and knowledge to provide effective assistance, which could potentially cost someone their life.
By completing our Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work course in Bolton, you will be equipped with the knowledge and confidence to deal competently with workplace accidents in line with the HSE-specified standards.
This level 3 course is suitable for first aiders in small or low-risk working environments such as offices or shops located in Bolton.
For high-risk working environments, such as manufacturing and construction businesses, completing our Level 3 First Aid at Work Course is advised.
By the end of this level 3 course, attendees should know and understand the following:
- Understand the role and responsibilities of a first aider
- Be able to assess an emergency safely
- Be able to provide first aid to a casualty who is choking
- Be able to provide first aid to casualty with external bleeding
- Know how to provide first aid to a casualty who is suffering from shock
