Security Industry Authority (SIA) Implement New Requirement From April 2021
From 1st April 2021 it will become a legal requirement that all door supervisors and security guards take on Emergency First Aid training as a minimum requirement prior to taking their licence-linked training Top-up qualification.
The new requirement is being brought in to ensure all door staff have a basic understanding of first aid.
